This commission made me especially excited: Los Realejos is my town, I have beautiful memories associated with these festivities and the beautiful Genoese carving of the Virgin of Carmen. For this reason, she is the central motif that I have chosen for this year's image, surrounded by the flower petals that are thrown by the villagers from balconies and windows in the procession, highlighting the maternal gaze of the Virgin, towards her son and for the town of Los Realejos, and of course, the sea motifs always present in these festivities.
